Sneha Banerjee is a seasoned communications strategist and partnerships consultant with over 12 years of cross-sector experience spanning digital media, philanthropy, social innovation, andimpact-led business development. She brings a unique blend of editorial expertise, stakeholder engagement, and new media innovation to advance mission-driven organizations and digital-first enterprises.
Currently working as an Independent Consultant, Sneha leads new media strategy,
communication training, and content campaign development for nonprofit organizations and business development initiatives. Her work focuses on trengthening institutional narratives and building high-impact engagement platforms.
As a consultant, she has previously served as a communications strategist for a venture capital fund, forged international media partnerships for one of India’s legendary media barons, and built strategic communication campaigns for grassroots organizations and corporate foundations.
Earlier, as Lead – Content Partnerships for India and the MENA region at Dailyhunt, Sneha architected partnerships with LinkedIn, Twitter, The Independent, and PR Newswire, scaling content diversity and user engagement. Under her leadership, English-language content became the platform’s top-performing segment, and she launched IP initiatives such as “Story for Glory” in collaboration with the Adani Media Initiative.
As Program Manager at the Independent & Public-Spirited Media Foundation, Sneha led due diligence and advisory efforts for over 15 independent news startups—facilitating editorial strategy, revenue development, and digital growth.
She began her journalism career with Thomson Reuters and Entrepreneur Media, covering sectors such as energy, policy, innovation, and investor ecosystems. She continues to contribute to public dialogue through features exploring education, gender equity, and cinema.
Sneha holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism from IIJNM, a B.Tech in Chemical
Engineering from SRM University, and professional certifications in Brand Management (MICA) and Women in Leadership (ISB). She also engages in policy advisory, having contributed to DEI benchmarking for the American India Foundation and digital mentorship programs for Meta.
Her strength lies in building cross-functional alliances that blend storytelling, systems change, and digital innovation to amplify sustainable development goals and equitable growth.
