Since 2001, Hon. Ing. Dany Rosalie Edmond Rottiers MBA has been the Founder and Managing Director of EIC Group in Košice, Slovakia, a leading provider of foreign direct investment (FDI) advisory services. Over two decades, EIC has facilitated the development of industrial parks, logistics centers, and large-scale infrastructure projects, securing substantial state subventions and expediting investment timelines for clients. Recent initiatives include establishing the EIC Impact Trust in Mauritius in 2023, focusing on impact investments aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, and launching the EIC Impact Fund, targeting EUR 40 billion in assets under management.

Dany’s notable achievements include securing over EUR 6.8 million in state aid for the Kechnec Industrial Park and EUR 2.9 million for LVD Company N.V.’s greenfield project. He has successfully managed projects across Eastern Europe, Africa, Middle-East, and Asia, leveraging his extensive diplomatic and commercial networks.

From 2006 to 2019, he served as Honorary Consul for Belgium in East Slovakia, promoting bilateral relations and trade. Earlier roles include Plant Manager for Sofinal N.V. in Slovakia (2000–2001) and Segment Support Manager for Timken Company in Romania (1995–2000).

A multilingual professional, Dany holds an MBA from EDHEC Business School, a Master’s in Aeronautical Engineering from IHB, and a bachelor’s in engineering from IHAM. His work emphasizes ethical investment, innovation, and economic growth, solidifying his reputation as a transformative leader in investment and infrastructure.
