Sijoon Hwang is a seasoned investment professional with over two decades of experience in
investor relations, asset management, and equity fund strategy across Asia’s most dynamic
capital markets. Based in South Korea, Sijoon has consistently demonstrated a deep command of
investor communications, institutional portfolio management, and strategic advisory across both
listed and private investment platforms.

He currently serves as Head of Investor Relations at AVACO, a KOSDAQ-listed leader in
display and secondary battery manufacturing equipment, where he oversees global IR strategy,
earnings call coordination, non-deal roadshows, and competitive market analysis. His role is
instrumental in connecting AVACO with global institutional capital.

In parallel, Sijoon was also Head of Portfolio Management at Winvest Investment Advisory,
managing an equity portfolio of approximately KRW 40 billion (USD 38 million). His mandate
spans public equities, startup investment guidance, and M&A advisory, reflecting his
multifaceted expertise across asset classes and corporate lifecycles.

His prior asset management leadership includes senior investment roles at Eugene Asset
Management (AUM USD 2.5 billion), Urich Asset Management (AUM USD 380 million),
Hansset Global Advisors, and Hyundai Investments. Across these roles, he led value, dividend-
focused, IPO, and pan-Asian equity strategies with sector coverage including financials,
telecommunications, and construction. His reputation for macro-driven security selection,
financial modeling, and sector rotation has earned him recognition as a trusted steward of capital.

Sijoon is fluent in English and Korean, and his longstanding presence across Korea’s capital
markets positions him as a bridge between Asian issuers and global investors. He is deeply
