Narinder Singh Sidhu
Energy Transition Entrepreneur | LNG Infrastructure Strategist | Cross-Border Capital Markets Executive
Narinder Singh Sidhu is a seasoned energy and capital markets leader with over two decades of international experience spanning LNG infrastructure, energy transition platforms, SPAC structuring, and cross-border M&A. He has founded and led ventures across Switzerland, Singapore, Australia, Malaysia, and the Middle East, steering complex projects from greenfield development through FID while aligning institutional capital with next-generation fuels including hydrogen and ammonia.
Narinder currently serves as Managing Director and CEO of Blufire Capital in Abu Dhabi, where he originates SPAC-led IPO opportunities and cross-border energy transactions across Asia, Europe, and North America. He leads investor roadshows and forges strategic alliances with hedge funds, law firms, regulators, and sovereign stakeholders to advance energy transition mandates.
He is also Managing Director at Aureus Energy Holdings (Singapore), where he structures ventures across LNG, hydrogen, ammonia, and netzero fuel ecosystems, partnering with governments and corporates to deliver baseload LNGtopower infrastructure and integrated logistics. As Executive Director at Ehsan Energy Ventures (Malaysia), he co-leads development of onshore/offshore regasification terminals and clean-fuels supply chains to accelerate national energy transition goals.
Previously, Narinder founded Aureus LNG GmbH (Zug), building an LNG trading and infrastructure platform serving Korea, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Australia, and led the awarded acquisition process of an ASX-listed LNG company. Earlier, as Managing Director of Australasia LNG (Melbourne), he launched and exited LNG infrastructure ventures in Indonesia and Malaysia, securing partnerships and MoUs across the full LNG value chain.
His strategic advisory track record includes senior roles with PT Bali Gas Transindo (Indonesia), where he structured mezzanine financing and coordinated project finance for a major gas pipeline to Bali; Valco Corporation (Indonesia), advising on energy and commodity expansion toward a $1B+ portfolio; and the National Gas Company of Oman, where he structured and raised 85% debt financing for an LPG acquisition from Shell across multiple jurisdictions.
Narinder began his career in financial services and consulting with Telekurs Financial (now SIX), McGrawHill’s DATA Sdn Bhd, Magnus Management Consultants, and Inventrix, building early expertise in capital markets, strategy, and business development.
He holds a Bachelor of Management (Accountancy), Honours, from the University of Technology Malaysia (UTM). His core strengths include energy transition and LNG infrastructure, SPAC structuring and IPO strategy, project development and FID execution, crossborder M&A, and government and strategic partnerships across APAC, the Middle East, and Europe.
“Narinder blends infrastructure execution with sophisticated capital markets structuring. His ability to originate and deliver crossborder energy platforms positions Balfour at the forefront of the global transition to cleaner fuels,” said Steve Alain Lawrence, Chief Investment Officer at Balfour Capital Group.
