Pedro Pablo Chavarría González is a finance professional with a strong foundation in business administration, internal financial operations, and economic research. A graduate of Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez in Chile, where he earned both his undergraduate degree in Business Management and a Master of Science in Finance, Pedro Pablo combines analytical precision with hands-on experience in financial controls and academic instruction.
Throughout his academic and early professional career, Pedro Pablo has developed a meticulous approach to financial management and strategic planning. His most recent role at Hype Center involved monitoring and analyzing cash flow across internal projects, contacting clients for receivables, and reconciling budgeted projections with actual performance. Prior to that, he held finance and operations roles at CDS Auditores and Comercial El Roble, where he managed internal budgeting, provider payments, and operational coordination.
Pedro Pablo also served as an assistant to PhD faculty at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, contributing to economic research on Chile’s macroeconomic history and assisting in the collection and processing of long-term financial datasets. Between 2018 and 2021, he was repeatedly selected as a teacher’s aide in subjects such as Macroeconomics II and Management & People, where he provided academic support and grading.
Fluent in English and Spanish, Pedro Pablo earned an IELTS score of 8.0 and completed a semester abroad at Durham University Business School in the UK. He also holds Bloomberg Market Concepts (BMC) certifications in Core Concepts and Portfolio Management and has practical experience using Microsoft Office in a financial reporting context.
His leadership extends beyond the classroom and office, having served as a member of the Student Federation, the university’s rugby team selection, and as the founder of a recreational sports startup, “Wardogs Airsoft,” during the summer of 2015–2016.
Pedro Pablo is regarded as a highly adaptable, detail-oriented team player with a passion for finance, macroeconomic policy, and collaborative problem-solving. He brings with him an international academic foundation and a growing professional skill set ideal for contributing to analytical, investor-facing, or operational strategy teams.
