Rui Pinho is a seasoned accounting and audit professional with over eight years of experience across financial reporting, tax compliance, and statutory audit. He currently serves as an Accountant and Tax Specialist at FORVIA, where he has been instrumental in IFRS 16 implementation, fixed asset analysis, balance sheet optimization, and the successful migration of VAT and Intrastat processes from France to Portugal.

Rui began his career with hands-on experience in accounting and audit practices, advancing rapidly from intern to senior audit associate. He led audit engagements for mid-sized clients, supervised junior staff, and supported court-appointed forensic audits, demonstrating expertise in analytical reviews, risk identification, and group accounts consolidation.

His background also includes key roles at audit firms such as Ângelo Couto, C. Ribeiro & L. Carvalho SROC and Jorge Macedo e Nuno Borges SROC, where he worked closely with experienced senior auditors to ensure high-quality compliance and client service.

A Certified Accountant (OCC – Portugal), Rui holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Administration and a Postgraduate Degree in Auditing from ISCAP. His technical proficiency includes IFRS, corporate tax (Form 22), deferred taxes, financial analysis, and budgeting.
