Mr. Stefan Adebajo is a U.S.-based energy and sustainability consultant with a multidisciplinary background in green building certification, energy policy, ESG advisory, and advanced energy systems, including renewable integration and nuclear microreactor technologies. Currently based in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area, Mr. Adebajo brings over a decade of experience across the public and private sectors, where he has led cross-functional sustainability initiatives and advised stakeholders across the construction, clean energy, and policy landscape.
Mr. Adebajo holds a Bachelor of Science in Energy Sustainability and Policy from Pennsylvania State University, with a minor in Energy Business and Finance. He began his career with the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Project Management, where he supported nuclear and sustainable energy projects and presented policy recommendations to senior federal leadership. Since then, he has held multiple technical and advisory roles, including at PEG LLC, where he supported residential and commercial energy code compliance through modeling, certification, and sustainability assessments using tools such as REM/Rate, Ekotrope, and SketchUp.
He currently serves as a Technical Advisor at Viridiant, guiding multifamily and commercial construction projects toward EarthCraft and ENERGY STAR certification, while also providing strategic oversight to project owners and developers. Parallel to his core energy work, he contributes to AI prompt engineering and model training at Outlier, advancing the frontier of human-computer interaction in data systems.
Mr. Adebajo’s portfolio reflects a broad and global perspective, shaped by time spent living and working in the UK, Kenya, the Netherlands, Nigeria, France, Germany, and South Africa. His previous work includes ESG-aligned development projects, community-centered urban initiatives with the DC Council, and talent development through youth programs, education technology, and the arts. He is also experienced in stakeholder engagement across both government and private sector contexts, including roles in real estate development, hotel operations, and national park service.
Multilingual and deeply collaborative, Mr. Adebajo is known for his cross-cultural fluency, systems thinking, and ability to translate technical complexity into actionable guidance. His Christian faith guides his judgments as he remains committed to advancing net-zero goals, resilient infrastructure, and inclusive growth across the energy transition landscape.
