He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Universidad Católica del Uruguay, where he graduated in July 2024. Elias currently serves as Assistant in Budgeting and Management Control at Pronto+, part of Scotiabank Group, where he has played a pivotal role in driving financial performance. His work in developing SQL queries and machine learning models has significantly improved decision-making processes, leading to a 25% increase in profitability and reducing financial discrepancies and overdrafts.

In addition to his role at Pronto+, Elias is the co-founder and CTO of Kairos AI Capital, a fintech startup specializing in AI-powered financial advisory and investment models. Kairos AI Capital was selected for the “Business Idea Validation” program by Uruguay’s National Agency of Development (ANDE) and the National Agency of Investigation and Innovation (ANII), where it is receiving funding and mentorship. Elias developed an AI model that optimizes stock market portfolios based on users’ risk profiles, achieving an impressive 353% CAGR over five years. His leadership and technical expertise have positioned Kairos AI Capital as a promising player in the fintech and AI landscape.

Elias is proficient in several programming languages and tools, including Python, R, SQL, and advanced Excel. He has experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn, and has developed solutions in big-data environments using PySpark and Apache Airflow. His ability to combine technical acumen with economic insight allows him to tackle complex financial problems with innovative solutions.
