Edward Chin is a dynamic e-commerce expert, corporate strategist, and business developer with extensive experience in start-ups, equity crowdfunding, and market expansion. With a proven track record in senior management roles, Edward is passionate about driving innovation and business growth.
Currently, Edward serves as a Client Trust Advisor for the Hong Kong Fiduciary Association Limited, where he educates and empowers members with global assets. In collaboration with leading international trust companies, Edward provides tailored strategies to safeguard family legacies and ensure seamless inheritance.
Previously, Edward held the role of President of Investor Relations at HFU Capital Group, where he coached SMEs and technology start-ups, assisting them in fundraising and strategic growth. His tenure as Vice President of Partner Ecosystems and Global Operations at Aerodyne Group saw him lead market expansion efforts across Europe and South America and contribute to three major M&A transactions. He was instrumental in raising $30 million in pre-Series C funding and managing Aerodyne’s global subsidiaries in over 36 countries.
Edward’s expertise in regional business development was also demonstrated at Eureeca, where he led Southeast Asian operations, building strategic partnerships with venture capitalists, private equity firms, and high-net-worth individuals. His achievements include pioneering the Digital Free Trade Zone at Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad in partnership with Alibaba Group, and developing growth strategies at Celcom Planet to drive $100 million in gross merchandise value.
In addition to his corporate roles, Edward is actively involved in mentorship and coaching. He has been invited to guide students and entrepreneurs through initiatives at Bursa Malaysia, Hong Leong Bank Berhad, Monash University, and other institutions. He is also the Charter Vice President of the Rotary Club KL Dynamics, where he spearheads initiatives in climate change, circular economy, and community impact programs, reaching thousands of participants across Malaysia.
Edward holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Commerce from Monash University, Malaysia, and has completed certifications in Private Equity, Investment Risk Management, and Generative AI.
