Miguel Ramirez is an accomplished financial professional with extensive experience in treasury, capital markets, and trading. His career spans several years in both Latin America and Europe, where he has excelled in managing portfolios, conducting financial analyses, and executing high-level trading operations across various markets.

Miguel’s most recent role was as a Sales & Trader at Arpenta Valores S.A. in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he worked from October 2018 to March 2023. During this time, he managed client portfolios, executed trades in both fixed and variable income markets, and conducted in-depth trading analysis using tools such as Bloomberg, TradingView, and MetaTrader 4. His expertise extended to managing the flow of sovereign bond funds and operations in over-the-counter (OTC) markets.

Before joining Arpenta, Miguel served as a Financial Analyst at CFA at Compañia Fiduciaria Americana in Buenos Aires from May 2017 to October 2018. In this role, he analyzed various financial projects and managed private financial trusts and public offering trusts, providing essential financial insights and support.

Miguel began his career at Banco Banesco in Caracas, Venezuela, where he held the position of Credit Analyst and Account Executive from February 2012 to March 2015. His responsibilities included analyzing commercial credit within the energy banking sector, with a particular focus on state contractors in the oil industry. He also presented credit analyses to the board of directors and managed business banking portfolios for companies importing medicines and food.

In addition to his professional experience, Miguel holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Universidad de Los Andes in Mérida, Venezuela, where he developed a strong foundation in macroeconomics, international finance, and capital markets. He has continued to expand his expertise through certifications in capital markets, futures and options, and data analysis, including recent training in Python and Pandas for data analysis.
